Role overview
Diverse Lynx India Pvt. Ltd is seeking a Mainframe Developer in Hyderabad. The role focuses on building, supporting, and improving mainframe-based applications, with hands-on work across COBOL, PL/I, JCL, and CICS.
Key responsibilities
- Build, enhance, test, and support COBOL programs used in mainframe environments.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into solutions using PL/I.
- Create JCL jobs to streamline and automate data-processing activities on the mainframe.
- Investigate and resolve issues in CICS transactions and related mainframe processes.
- Deliver technical support for live systems by reviewing logs, tracing failures, identifying root causes, and applying fixes.
Requirements
- 2 to 7 years of experience in mainframe development.
- Practical experience with COBOL, PL/I, and PLI/1 programming languages.
- Good knowledge of JCL and its use in automating mainframe batch processing.
- Hands-on experience with CICS transactions is mandatory.
Eligibility
