Python Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 4 to 8 years of proven expertise in architecting, building, and maintaining scalable backend applications. The candidate should excel in Python programming, API design, database interaction, and adhere to best software development methodologies. Additional experience with cloud infrastructure, container technologies, and contemporary frameworks is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, test, and maintain scalable Python applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services leveraging Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and Django.
• Produce clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code in line with coding standards.
• Integrate software with databases, external APIs, and third-party systems.
• Enhance performance, scalability, and reliability of applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within development and production environments.
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to discussion on software architecture and design.
• Develop unit tests and promote automated testing approaches.
• Work effectively within Agile and Scrum teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Solid understanding of REST API development and integration techniques.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with ORM tools such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Competent with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized application environments.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and development best practices.
• Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Exposure to messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Redis.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases including MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Understanding of microservices architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like PyTest or Unittest.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments including shell scripting.

Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical field.
