Role Overview

The Relationship Manager for High Net Worth (HNW) clients will be responsible for handling an assigned portfolio, bringing in new customers to the bank, onboarding and upgrading existing clients, and driving cross-sell of premium banking products to help achieve targets and the approved annual plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned HNW portfolio efficiently while acquiring new clients for the bank and upgrading existing relationships.
  • Promote and cross-sell exclusive banking products to support target achievement and the yearly business plan.
  • Monitor service quality and complaint levels, and ensure customer issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of client service when handling questions and concerns.
  • Increase customer profitability through effective cross-selling and by introducing suitable new products.
  • Keep product knowledge current and ensure clients remain informed about relevant offerings and updates.
  • Work toward retaining clients while regularly tracking balances and account movements.
  • Stay informed about competitor activity, including pricing approaches and market tactics.
  • Review sales activity daily and share updates with the direct manager so timely action can be taken when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline is required.
  • For Relationship Manager roles, candidates should have 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in sales or financial services.
  • For Senior Relationship Manager roles, at least 6 years of relevant sales or financial experience is expected.
