About the internship
This is a government-certified NATS training opportunity in inside sales with Muthoot Finance Ltd., part of The Muthoot Group. The role sits within the alternate channel focused on new customer acquisition and is based across a cluster of 8 to 10 branches under a cluster sales manager in Bangalore.
The internship is designed to provide practical exposure in sales, customer acquisition, and operations, with close guidance from an experienced sales manager. It also outlines a structured growth track that can lead toward a sales manager position within 1.8 years for successful performers.
What you will do
- Carry out open-market activities to build leads for gold loans and other financial products.
- Run customer acquisition efforts and work toward building durable customer relationships.
- Support branch teams with KYC checks, customer onboarding, and related operational work.
- Help the sales manager work toward cluster-level targets across 8 to 10 branches.
- Develop and apply capabilities in financial product pitching, field sales, and customer engagement.
- Share performance updates and market observations with the sales manager on a regular basis.
Eligibility
Applications are open only to candidates who can join a full-time, in-office internship, are able to begin between 7 July 2026 and 11 August 2026, can commit for 6 months, and have relevant skills and interest in the role.
Other requirements
- Graduate from any stream; candidates who passed out in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are preferred.
- Age should be between 19 and 25 years.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities are required.
- Candidates must be comfortable with field sales and customer acquisition work.
- High motivation, persistence, and a customer-service mindset are important.
- Willingness to travel within the cluster covering 8 to 10 branches is necessary.
