About the Internship
This internship offers hands-on experience in supporting daily business operations and administrative functions within an R&D company focused on metallurgy and materials problems. The selected interns will engage in various tasks including inventory management, coordination with vendors and internal teams, order processing, and document maintenance. This role also involves contributing to procurement and logistics activities, ensuring precise documentation, and seeking opportunities for process enhancements to boost operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance in the routine business operations and administrative duties.
- Manage inventory through stock tracking and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of inventory.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
- Handle order processing, oversee dispatch, and update delivery statuses.
- Maintain documents related to operations, including reports and management information system records.
- Support procurement and logistics coordination efforts effectively.
- Ensure precise data entry and thorough documentation of operational activities.
- Identify and suggest improvements to existing processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform additional operational assignments as directed by the reporting manager.
Who Can Apply
Candidates eligible for this internship must be available for a full-time, in-office internship starting between July 28, 2026, and September 1, 2026, with a commitment to the entire six-month duration. Applicants should also possess the relevant skills and interest to fulfill the internship responsibilities successfully.
Compensation and Benefits
A stipend ranging from INR 10,000 to 10,001 per month will be provided. Successful interns will also receive a certificate upon completion.
