A leading Irish retail brand in home, interiors, technology, and lifestyle is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for its Limerick location. In this position, you will work closely with the Store Manager to keep the department running smoothly each day. You will help guide the team, raise performance, and make sure customers consistently receive a high standard of service.

Key duties
- Assist the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the department
- Help lead, encourage, and develop a strong retail team
- Support sales growth and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Coach colleagues so they can meet targets and provide excellent service
- Maintain strong standards in merchandising and product presentation
- Support rota planning, stock control, and wider operational tasks
- Respond to customer questions and handle concerns in a professional manner
- Step in for the Store Manager when needed
Candidate profile
The employer is seeking someone with retail supervisory or leadership experience, a solid background in sales and customer care, and a genuine interest in developing people. Strong organisation and communication skills are important, along with a commercial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving retail setting.
Experience in furniture, interiors, appliances, or technology retail would be beneficial, though it is not required.
