Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site position in Goa for a Community Manager who will be responsible for creating an engaging, friendly, and inclusive environment for guests. The role focuses on daily guest interaction, organizing activities, maintaining active social spaces, collecting feedback, and handling concerns quickly and professionally. The person in this role will also work closely with operations and marketing teams to drive events, improve the guest journey, and support local brand efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Build a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests throughout the property.
- Plan, coordinate, and host events, activities, workshops, and other community-driven experiences.
- Manage shared spaces so they remain active, inviting, and aligned with the property’s community vibe.
- Listen to guest feedback, address issues promptly, and resolve concerns with professionalism.
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to promote events and property initiatives.
- Contribute to improving the overall guest experience through daily observation and proactive support.
- Track community engagement indicators and spot opportunities to strengthen participation and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with guests as well as local partners.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Background in community management, hospitality, guest relations, or another client-facing role in travel, tourism, or lifestyle-led brands.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-handling abilities.
- Ability to connect with different types of guests and foster an inclusive environment.
- Experience in organizing events, social gatherings, workshops, or local experiences.
- Working familiarity with basic marketing and social media promotion.
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy hospitality setting.
- Availability for flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Good command of English; additional Indian languages will be an advantage.
- Prior exposure to Goa or strong familiarity with the local area is a plus.
- A genuine interest in travel, experiential hospitality, and community building.
