Role Overview
This position is for a practical, on-camera Content Creator who can transform ideas into content that feels natural, engaging, and suited to each platform. The role is best suited to someone who enjoys making short-form videos, talking-to-camera clips, relatable social content, product-style explainers, testimonials, and hook-driven material that feels authentic rather than overproduced.
Key Responsibilities
- Create UGC-style advertisements, short-form videos, talking-head clips, skits, reaction videos, explainers, and other social-first creative assets by filming yourself.
- Translate scripts, hooks, rough concepts, and campaign briefs into content that feels organic, engaging, and native to the platform.
- Develop content for education brands, online courses and programs, enrollment campaigns, founder-led messaging, student-perspective pieces, and digital advertising.
- Improve or draft simple hooks, captions, scripts, subtitles, and content angles whenever needed.
- Deliver raw footage or lightly edited videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Meta Ads, and similar channels.
- Rework strong concepts into several versions, hooks, formats, or creative angles for testing and optimization.
- Keep up with short-form video trends, internet culture, creator-style formats, and platform-native storytelling.
- Work closely with strategists, editors, designers, media buyers, and project leads to turn ideas into high-performing campaign content.
- Act on feedback, re-shoot when required, and contribute to iterative content improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Confidence and ease on camera.
- Solid instincts for short-form video, including hooks, pacing, structure, subtitles, retention, and natural delivery.
- Clear and natural spoken English.
- A portfolio, social profile, or sample videos that demonstrate UGC, skits, talking-head content, explainers, reviews, advertisements, or similar short-form work.
- Ability to perform simple scenarios, reactions, student or customer viewpoints, and promotional concepts.
- Working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and how content performs in both organic and paid environments.
- Ability to turn raw ideas, scripts, briefs, or campaign directions into clear and engaging video content.
- Comfort producing clean, well-lit, good-quality videos using a phone, camera, or a basic home setup.
- Strong writing judgment for hooks, captions, scripts, and simple content ideas.
- Clear communication, dependable deadline management, and openness to feedback.
- 1 to 4 years of experience, or comparable hands-on experience gained through freelance, creator, acting, presenting, teaching, sales, or project-based work.
Nice to Have
- Interest in education, online learning, adult education, or growth marketing.
- Experience producing online advertising assets such as branded ads, UGC-style videos, YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikToks, and paid social creative.
