About the role
This position focuses on preparing and reviewing contracts with all stallholders and other counterparties, identifying potential risks, and ensuring every party meets its contractual obligations. The role is centered on managing agreements end to end and keeping contract execution compliant and controlled.
Contract management
- Prepare contracts and purchase orders, including the relevant terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with the concerned parties to obtain contract review and signatures.
- Spot contractual risks and support mitigation actions.
- Prepare required contractual correspondence such as notices, suspensions, and termination letters.
- Monitor contract milestones and key deadlines.
- Complete contract closure once services have been delivered.
- Assess change orders and support negotiation for renewals, extensions, and re-negotiations.
- Manage disputes that arise during contract execution.
- Work with the legal team to resolve disagreements through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation.
Vendor management
- Develop and sustain constructive working relationships with contractors.
- Track vendor performance and confirm compliance with contractual commitments.
- Respond to vendor queries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Certify contractor payments and claims.
- Support settlement activities and final account audits.
- Offer practical guidance on contractual matters to internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance and reporting
- Make sure all procurement-related activities follow company policies and procedures.
- Keep procurement files complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Maintain records for contracts, amendments, and related correspondence.
- Prepare reports on procurement activity and spending patterns.
- Produce contract management reports.
Stakeholders
Internal stakeholders include the marketing department, operations department, legal department, project management team, and development department. External stakeholders include vendors, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
Qualifications and skills
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in real estate and construction is needed.
- Knowledge of FIDIC is an advantage.
- Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
- Strong knowledge of real estate procurement processes and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Capability to analyze complex data effectively.
- Understanding of contract administration principles.
- Comfort using procurement systems such as SAP.
- Strong sourcing ability and industry connections.
