Role overview
Arvato operates in a fast-moving, technology-led environment with a strong focus on customer solutions, cloud-based e-commerce and IT platforms, and automated supply chain services. The company works across a global network of 17,000 colleagues in more than 100 locations across 17 countries.
For the Mörfelden-Walldorf site in Hesse, Arvato is looking for a Data Center Associate to support day-to-day operations. This position is initially fixed for 1 year, with the possibility of a longer-term future. It is a hands-on role for someone who likes taking responsibility, working closely with a team, and improving processes in a technical setting.
What you will do
- Accept, inspect, record, and organize incoming materials while keeping stock information accurate in internal systems.
- Handle packing, preparing, and sending equipment according to company procedures, with attention to quality, completeness, and full traceability.
- Support data center work by helping install server racks, hardware parts, and basic cabling exactly as instructed by layouts and work guidelines.
- Contribute to a safe, tidy, and compliant workplace by following operational, quality, and safety requirements.
- Move and position technical equipment safely inside the data center and assist with stock checks and system updates.
What the role calls for
The ideal candidate brings early experience from logistics, warehouse, or technical environments and is comfortable using hand tools and power tools. You should also be at ease with basic IT systems, inventory software, and digital record-keeping, while working in a structured and detail-focused way.
Very good English communication skills are needed for an international working environment. A valid Class B driving license is required, along with the willingness and physical ability to complete tasks safely and responsibly. You should be dependable, collaborative, solution-oriented, proactive, and able to communicate well and adjust to changing priorities.
