Data Reporting Analyst

Role Summary

Pick Your Part is hiring a full-time Data Reporting Analyst in Brentwood, TN. This role focuses on turning business data into clear analysis, reports, and insights that help leaders make informed decisions and support growth-oriented projects.

What You’ll Do

• Gather, review, and summarize management data to support everyday operations, planning, and issue resolution.
• Carry out general analytics and statistical modeling using existing business data sets.
• Study data, interpret results, and translate findings into insights on trends, operational effects, and business opportunities.
• Build forecasts, dashboards, ad hoc reports, and other reporting outputs as needed.
• Look for patterns in data that help answer business questions and strengthen decision-making.
• Handle the full analytics workflow, including defining requirements, collecting data, cleaning and processing it, analyzing it, modeling it, and presenting it visually.
• Spot opportunities to improve efficiency and automate recurring analysis tasks.
• Identify process improvements as well as data quality and data handling improvements.
• Track medium- to long-term business trends and, when needed, collect competitive intelligence for leadership planning discussions.
• Prepare action-oriented reports that highlight key performance indicators, improvement opportunities, and root-cause findings.
• Follow company policies and procedures in all work activities.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• Preferred: a master’s degree.
• Preferred: background in statistical analysis.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with modern data visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
• Comfort with arithmetic, ratios, percentages, and interpreting graphs.
• Regular use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics tools, databases, and PowerPoint to support business work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with others, train in functional areas, and present to teams or middle management.
• Ability to manage several moderately complex tasks or projects at once.
• Work style is guided by clear procedures; issues are generally routine or repetitive.
• Role decisions primarily affect the individual job or assigned functional area.
• Ability to work with broad direction and set personal goals independently.
