Role overview
A growing organization is seeking a Demand Planner in Charlotte, NC. This role follows a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, with workdays from Monday through Friday. Compensation is listed at $80,000 to $100,000.

What you'll do
- Create, maintain, and enhance demand forecasts across multiple product categories and customer channels using historical sales patterns, market movements, and business input.
- Review forecasting performance, identify the main demand drivers, run variance analysis, and recommend actions that strengthen accuracy and inventory outcomes.
- Lead demand review meetings, contribute to S&OP activities, and coordinate with supply chain, procurement, and operations teams so inventory and production plans match customer demand.
What we're looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, supply chain planning, or a similar field.
- Advanced Excel capability, along with hands-on use of ERP and planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or comparable platforms.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, present data-backed recommendations, and build alignment across teams.
Preferred background
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related area.
- Exposure to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
- Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, retail, distribution, or similar industries.
- Working knowledge of statistical forecasting methods.
- APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM or CSCP are preferred.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
