Role Details

Work location: 3611 Kochar Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7P 0B8, Canada

Shift: Day shift

Pay: $20.40 to $22.40 per hour

Job Summary

In this role, you will deliver office supplies along an assigned route to customer accounts while meeting internal timing and quality expectations. You will also provide professional delivery support, handle product returns when needed, and use a vehicle and equipment supplied by the employer.

Key Duties

• Get ready for daily deliveries by collecting the required paperwork, completing vehicle checks before departure, and reporting any maintenance concerns to a supervisor.
• Transport products to customers, process returns as required, collect signatures, and complete all necessary documents.
• Respond to customer feedback, resolve issues where possible, and escalate unresolved matters to the supervisor.
• Follow safe work practices at all times and keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following conditions:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have at least 1 year of experience driving a straight truck that is 16 feet or longer.
• Hold a valid driver’s licence and a clean 5-year driving abstract with no major moving violations, in line with provincial law.
• Be able to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance; experience with a hand truck or dolly is preferred.
• Know the metro area well, be comfortable reading maps, and be able to use mobile proof-of-delivery devices.
• Have strong customer service, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment with time pressure.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• The job involves sitting, standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling, and balancing for extended periods.
• You may need to repeatedly lift, move, or carry loads of up to 70 pounds without assistance, or use dolly-type equipment for deliveries.
• You must be able to enter and scan product and customer details on a handheld scanner.
• Driving is required throughout the assigned route in varying weather and road conditions.
• The workplace noise level is generally moderate.
