नौकरी का विवरण
Company Overview
Woven is a home and lifestyle brand that designs nature-inspired, narrative-rich products for the home. The company, previously known as Selamat Designs, is rooted in craftsmanship, earth-conscious principles, and enduring quality. Its collections center on natural materials, timeless style, and responsible production, all within a mission-driven culture that values creativity, storytelling, and environmental care.
Over the last three years, the business has achieved strong product-market fit and meaningful growth, supported by a loyal customer base and a clear position in the home and lifestyle space. The next phase of growth is focused on building a more advanced, efficient, and sustainable ecommerce operation with stronger retention, lifecycle engagement, conversion improvement, operational discipline, and a more refined brand experience.
This position is expanding beyond execution and project coordination into broader ownership of digital customer experience, analytics, operational excellence, and ecommerce strategy. The successful candidate will be expected to think proactively, contribute strategic ideas, improve workflows, and help shape the customer journey across every digital touchpoint.
Although this is not a creative role, it carries an important responsibility for preserving brand integrity within the ecommerce experience. Strong judgment, precision, and a consistent brand perspective are essential across merchandising, messaging, customer experience, and site operations.
Brand Stewardship and Digital Customer Experience
- Oversee and improve the customer journey across the ecommerce ecosystem so that every digital touchpoint supports both revenue goals and long-term brand positioning.
- Plan and execute merchandising across the homepage, collection pages, navigation, search, product presentation, and promotional placements, including product launches, collection refreshes, and seasonal merchandising.
- Make sure the site experience consistently aligns with the brand’s visual standards, voice, positioning, and customer expectations.
- Work closely with Creative and Marketing partners to coordinate onsite storytelling, campaigns, launches, and brand calendar execution.
- Manage studio ecommerce assets and the asset library, while reviewing customer-facing content for accuracy, consistency, quality, and overall coherence.
- Identify ways to improve product discovery, navigation, filtering, cross-sell opportunities, and the overall flow of the customer journey.
- Regularly review and refine the desktop and mobile experience to reduce friction and improve conversion, average order value, engagement, and retention.
Site Operations and Quality Assurance
- Own ongoing quality checks for site content, links, promotions, pricing, inventory display, and checkout functionality.
- Keep product details, imagery, specifications, and merchandising materials current and accurate to support omnichannel launches.
- Coordinate with developers and external partners on issue tracking, testing, and site enhancements.
- Create clear processes and checklists that improve consistency and support future scaling.
Analytics and Strategic Insights
- Go beyond standard reporting by turning ecommerce data into practical insights and strategic recommendations.
- Review site, merchandising, customer, campaign, and shipping cost performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Track key ecommerce metrics such as conversion rate, average order value, retention, bounce rate, merchandising performance, and shipping costs/margin, then translate findings into actions that improve growth, optimization, and the customer lifecycle.
- Partner with Marketing on retention and lifecycle initiatives, including segmentation, personalization, A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and lifecycle improvement efforts.
Competitive and Market Analysis
- Continuously review competitor websites, merchandising approaches, promotional activity, and customer experience trends.
- Share proactive recommendations with leadership to improve the digital experience.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Act as a key partner to Marketing, Operations, Customer Experience, and Product teams.
- Help set priorities for ecommerce initiatives and strengthen coordination across teams.
- Support launch readiness and keep execution timelines on track.
- Bring a proactive, ownership-driven approach to identifying issues and solving them.
- Contribute to the evolution of ecommerce processes, documentation, and operational systems as the company grows.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The right person is observant, commercially minded, and proactive, with the ability to spot issues and opportunities that others may overlook. They combine strong analytical thinking with a high standard for quality and understand that ecommerce is both a performance channel and a customer experience.
The role is best suited to someone who can protect the brand while also driving results. The operating style is closer to premium brands in design, fashion, interiors, or hospitality than to a conventional ecommerce organization.
Requirements
A college degree is required. Candidates should bring 4 to 7 years of experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, along with a proven record of working remotely. Experience with Shopify Enterprise, Klaviyo, and Google Analytics is expected. Strong ability in data analytics and performance marketing is important, including advanced Excel skills and pivot tables. Background in luxury, digitally native, or retail brands is preferred. The ideal applicant is entrepreneurial, collaborative, and has strong interpersonal skills.
