The Engineer – Precast Execution handles the on-site installation of precast structural and architectural components, including columns, beams, wall panels, staircases, and slabs. The position focuses on making sure erection work is completed safely, on schedule, and in line with the approved design, quality expectations, and method statements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee the site erection plan for precast concrete members, making sure the installation order, alignment, joint details, and tolerance limits match the approved drawings and method statements.
• Work closely with precast manufacturing, transportation, and logistics teams so materials arrive on time and are handled or staged properly at site.
• Carry out readiness checks before erection, including verification of foundation or substructure completion, embedded plates or sleeves, and availability of cranes, lifters, and rigging gear.
• Direct the lifting, positioning, and fixing of precast items such as columns, beams, walls, façades, staircases, and slabs while maintaining stability, safe handling, and accurate alignment during and after installation.
• Make sure grouting, sealant application, and connection methods such as bolting, welding, and dowels are executed according to the design requirements, and monitor curing of connection joints.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety procedures and quality controls throughout all erection activities.
