Role Overview
Creative is a critical driver of performance marketing. The Growth team depends on a steady flow of new concepts, fast iteration, and large-scale testing to acquire users efficiently. Kalshi believes strong creative teams do more than produce ads; they build systems that help teams learn faster, experiment better, and improve continuously.
In this role, you will lead the creation and optimization of static performance creative across channels such as Meta, X, Reddit, TikTok, Google, and new platforms as they emerge. You will work closely with Growth and Performance Marketing to turn ideas, market events, and successful acquisition angles into compelling visual assets.
Success means delivering large volumes of quality creative, improving results through constant iteration, and helping Kalshi scale by increasing the speed of testing and learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine static ad creative for paid acquisition campaigns across major marketing channels.
- Develop fresh ad concepts, visual styles, hooks, and testing approaches that support growth goals.
- Produce a high volume of creative variations to accelerate experimentation and learning.
- Review performance metrics and continuously improve existing creative assets based on results.
- Study competitor ad libraries and emerging trends to uncover new creative opportunities.
- Work closely with Growth and Performance Marketing teams to plan and execute testing roadmaps.
- Convert market movement, cultural moments, and product updates into acquisition-focused advertising assets.
- Design scalable systems, templates, and workflows that improve speed and efficiency.
- Maintain a high quality standard while working at startup pace.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in performance graphic design, paid social creative, or direct-response marketing design.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates effective static advertising creative.
- Solid understanding of social-first design and paid acquisition creative.
- Excellent visual design ability and strong creative judgment.
- Comfort producing high-quality output at high volume.
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to move quickly.
- Ability to take feedback well and iterate rapidly.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage several projects at once.
- Strong interest in performance marketing, testing, and optimization.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Growth or Performance Marketing teams.
- Background at a high-growth startup.
- Exposure to consumer internet, fintech, sports, media, or trading products.
- Motion design experience.
- Experience creating creative systems and workflows.
- Strong awareness of internet culture and emerging social trends.
Compensation
The New York City salary range for this role is $120,000 to $190,000 per year, along with equity and benefits. The company notes that this range reflects current market data and that candidates whose expectations are above this range are still welcome to discuss compensation.
