Role overview
This is a permanent, full-time IT operations position based in Penrose, Auckland, supporting the HelloFresh and BeCool teams. The role sits with the regional IT leadership team and acts as the main point of contact for technical support across the Auckland site. It is a hands-on onsite position that involves moving between the corporate office and the distribution centre, so personal transport is required.
The job also includes work in chilled environments, some heavy lifting, and occasional tasks at height.
Key duties
- Deliver quick and practical IT assistance both onsite and remotely, while keeping disruption to a minimum.
- Oversee the complete hardware lifecycle, including asset tracking, maintenance, and planning for future needs.
- Handle employee onboarding, offboarding, and access management throughout the user lifecycle.
- Support events with dependable IT setup and troubleshooting so everything runs smoothly.
- Write and maintain clear internal documentation for software, tools, and processes.
- Work closely with internal IT teams, external vendors, and partners to keep support aligned with global standards.
- Strengthen IT security by applying policies for endpoint protection, VPN use, and file access controls.
- Support the infrastructure team with network maintenance and troubleshooting.
Required background
- Previous experience in a professional IT support position.
- Working knowledge of Generative AI for workflow automation, insight generation, and quality governance.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Office, and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with MDM platforms such as InTune, JAMF, or MobiControl.
- Solid understanding of Windows, Mac, and Android environments, plus network infrastructure basics.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced role that requires a consistent physical onsite presence.
Additional information
Start date is as soon as possible, though a notice period can be accommodated. This is a permanent full-time role and applicants must have the right to work full-time in New Zealand.
