Role Overview

The Logistics Data Operator will help warehouse customers by keeping operational data accurate and by supporting improvements in day-to-day logistics performance. This is a contract, remote position focused on collecting, checking, and entering data related to orders, inventory movement, picking, and packing into internal systems and tools.

In addition to data handling, the role involves reviewing operational information to spot patterns, delays, bottlenecks, and opportunities to make workflows more efficient. You will share findings in a structured, easy-to-follow format and work with internal teams and, when necessary, customers to clarify requirements, document processes, and maintain data quality.

You may also contribute to simple performance reporting, support product pilots or demos, and provide practical feedback that helps improve both the software and warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate warehouse and logistics records across orders, inventory updates, and picking/packing activities.
• Check, clean, and validate operational data before it is used in systems or reports.
• Review logistics information to identify trends, inefficiencies, and process bottlenecks.
• Summarize findings clearly for internal stakeholders and, when needed, customers.
• Help document workflows, business rules, and process steps for warehouse operations.
• Support straightforward performance reporting and basic analysis tasks.
• Assist with pilots, demos, and customer feedback activities where data support is needed.
• Contribute ideas that improve product features and warehouse workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Hands-on capability in data operations, including managing, cleansing, and interpreting warehouse-related information.
• Good analytical ability to recognize patterns, issues, and improvement opportunities in operational data.
• Clear communication skills for working with internal teams and, at times, external customers.
• Basic familiarity with customer-facing or sales-related processes, especially in support of demos, pilots, or feedback collection.
• Prior exposure to logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or a similar operations setting is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and stay organized with digital collaboration tools such as spreadsheets, dashboards, and project tools.
• Strong attention to detail, dependable execution of repetitive tasks, and disciplined documentation habits.
• Education or training in logistics, supply chain, business, data, or a related area is beneficial, though practical experience can also be sufficient.
