Private Equity Associate

Role overview

A leading technology-focused private equity client is seeking talented professionals at Associate or Manager level to join its team in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Area.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and help progress buyout and growth investment opportunities within the European technology sector.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO, valuation, and return analyses, to inform investment decisions.
• Carry out commercial and financial due diligence while coordinating with advisors, management teams, and external specialists.
• Assist portfolio companies after investment with value-creation initiatives, board materials, and ongoing performance tracking.

Qualifications

• Between 2 and 7 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory, preferably with exposure to the technology sector.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capability, paired with a solid commercial mindset.
• Advanced command of both German and English, in written and spoken form.
• A degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a similar discipline, supported by a strong academic record.
