नौकरी का विवरण
Company overview
Clyde Group Australia delivers end-to-end fabrication solutions for structural metal products across industrial, commercial, and recreational projects. Its work includes industrial units, warehouses, shade structures, and recreation-related builds, with a focus on strong workmanship, safety, reliability, and solutions tailored to the job. Projects are coordinated from initial concept through fabrication and installation, with close collaboration among clients, engineers, and contractors to keep delivery on schedule and aligned with specifications.
Role summary
This full-time Project Manager position is based in Central Coast, NSW and is performed off-site. The role is responsible for steering structural metal fabrication projects from early planning through final completion. The successful person will define scope, build schedules, manage budgets, allocate resources, and keep delivery moving by working closely with fabrication teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Key duties
You will also handle expediting and logistics coordination so materials and components arrive when needed. A major part of the role involves overseeing or carrying out inspections to confirm quality and compliance with project requirements and safety expectations. In addition, you will monitor progress, identify and resolve project risks and issues, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure clients and internal stakeholders receive clear, timely updates.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate brings solid project management capability across planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication. Hands-on experience in expediting, including working as an expeditor to help secure on-time delivery of goods and services, is important. Familiarity with inspection practices and expediting workflows in structural metal fabrication and installation is highly desirable.
Additional requirements
Applicants should be comfortable coordinating suppliers, transport, and site deliveries, and should be able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and project records. A background in construction, fabrication, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, particularly where structural metal projects are involved. The role also calls for a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance, along with sound problem-solving, negotiation, organisation, and multi-project coordination skills. Confidence using project management and office software such as MS Project, spreadsheets, and document control tools is expected. A relevant tertiary qualification or trade background in engineering, construction management, or a similar area is preferred.
