QA Inspector

Role overview

Ward Personnel is hiring a QA Inspector to support residential and commercial building decarbonization work across Dublin and nearby areas. The role sits within projects delivered under the Warmer Homes Scheme, Better Energy Homes, One Stop Shops, and private works.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks on homes completed under the schemes listed above.
• Prepare final QA paperwork for each property after snag items have been closed out.
• Speak with homeowners and clearly explain the improvements carried out, such as window replacement, EWI, IWI, cavity wall insulation, and heat pump installations.
• Make sure all handover documentation is completed accurately and submitted in full for every property.
• Review repeated snag issues and work with Project Managers to identify and fix the underlying causes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in building surveying or a comparable construction-based position.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organisational ability.
• Comfortable handling several jobs and coordinating with different stakeholders at the same time.
• A full EU driving licence is mandatory.
