Job Summary
This position is for a meticulous and insight-driven Research Analyst based in the United States. The role focuses on gathering information, studying data, and turning findings into clear recommendations that help guide business strategy and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out both qualitative and quantitative research using a mix of internal records and outside sources.
- Examine and interpret data to spot patterns, trends, and possible business opportunities.
- Create research reports, presentation materials, and concise executive summaries.
- Complete market, industry, and competitor studies.
- Build and update databases, dashboards, and research documentation.
- Track market movements and translate observations into practical recommendations.
- Work with teams across functions to support strategic projects and initiatives.
- Check research outputs for accuracy and reliability before sharing them.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Assist with additional research assignments as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Market Research, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, or a closely related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in research, data analysis, business analysis, or a comparable analytical position.
- Strong capability in analytical thinking and problem solving.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on exposure to data analysis and reporting software.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and solid organizational habits.
- Ability to juggle several research projects and deadlines at once.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SPSS, or similar analytics tools.
- Understanding of statistical techniques and research methods.
- Background in market research or competitor analysis.
- Familiarity with survey platforms and data visualization tools.
- Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence systems.
