Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position is based in Accra and may involve travel to other regions. The Sales Driver will operate assigned trucks to transport products together with a sales representative, making sure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. The role combines driving, customer interaction, basic sales support, and routine vehicle oversight.

Key Duties

• Drive company trucks to deliver products to customers alongside a sales team member.
• Load and unload goods carefully and securely.
• Verify delivery paperwork and confirm that shipment details are correct.
• Collect payments or obtain delivery acknowledgements when required.
• Maintain accurate logs for trips, deliveries, and related records.
• Speak with customers professionally, respond to simple questions, and pass along concerns or feedback to the sales or logistics team.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company procedures at all times.
• Support the sales team by sharing practical feedback from the field and market.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating trucks and other commercial vehicles.
• Valid Class C licence or higher, with a clean driving history.
• Strong communication and customer service ability.
• Good familiarity with Accra and other regional routes, plus basic navigation skills.
• Physical ability to handle loading and unloading tasks safely.
• Basic documentation and record-keeping skills for delivery notes and trip logs.
• Dependable, punctual, and strongly committed to safety and compliance.
• Prior work as a sales driver, delivery driver, or in a similar position is beneficial.
