About the Company
Myron is a venture-backed FinTech startup that is rethinking how businesses obtain financing. The platform is designed for companies that have significant inventory or receivables but face slow, manual, and opaque funding processes. By connecting directly to operational data such as warehouses and services, it continuously confirms asset existence and value, then completes financing settlement on-chain through smart contracts. The result is a faster, clearer, intermediary-free model that is positioned as a genuinely new approach in the market.
This company is being built within Santa Tech, a venture builder that creates businesses from the ground up. Myron already has a live product, growing momentum, and a team that is actively delivering.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work as the CTO’s primary engineering partner. Your focus will be to guide technical execution across the platform by shaping architecture, writing production code every day, mentoring other engineers, and helping keep the codebase maintainable while the product continues to move quickly. You will collaborate closely with the founding team, which brings strong expertise in structured finance, as well as with Santa Tech’s global engineering talent.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Help steer architecture and technical direction for the Myron platform.
- Contribute production-quality code on a daily basis.
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
- Maintain code quality, structure, and engineering standards as the product evolves.
- Work closely with the CTO and the founding team to translate business logic into technical solutions.
- Participate actively in delivery decisions and day-to-day engineering execution.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate has experience leading small engineering teams and understands that strong leadership is about improving the performance of others. You should be someone who enjoys writing code regularly and wants to continue doing so. A curiosity for the business reasoning behind technical decisions is important, along with a strong background in software architecture that has been tested in production.
The role calls for at least 6 years of professional experience using TypeScript, with NestJS preferred. A solid technical foundation supported by a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent background is expected. Experience in the FinTech sector is also important.
What Won’t Be a Fit
- People who are not interested in the underlying business logic.
- Those who do not consistently follow coding standards and cannot uphold them for a team.
- Candidates who are unwilling to mentor junior engineers.
- Applicants who only want the title and not the hands-on coding responsibilities.
- People who need every task fully defined before they can begin working.
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive compensation package.
- A collaborative, thoughtful, and intellectually engaging workplace.
- Access to all modern AI models and tools at no cost.
- Regular in-person company gatherings with all travel and event expenses covered, including recent meetings in Cape Town and Dubai.
- Office space at Dubai World Trade Center.
