Traffic Controller (Changi)

Role overview

This position supports cargo and logistics movement at the Changi site in Singapore. The role focuses on handling import and export goods, preparing cargo for transport, keeping records accurate, and ensuring safe vehicle and warehouse operations.

Working hours

The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 7:00 am to 11:00 am. The work week is 5.5 days.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out logistics support tasks such as wrapping, packing, labelling, scanning, and maintaining proper cargo documentation.
• Load import cargo into the company vehicle and deliver it to customers on time.
• Load export cargo into the company vehicle and return it to the airport warehouse within the required timeline.
• Keep the vehicle clean and maintained, and handle general housekeeping duties.
• Report any damage to the vehicle or cargo caused by an accident.
• Inspect, count, and handle cargo carefully and accurately.
• Keep radio communication active at all times while on duty.
• Follow all safety requirements during work.
• Take on any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job requirements

• At least Primary School education.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Must hold a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence.
• Should be comfortable working independently without supervision.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift or carry loads.
• Should be a strong team player.
• Needs to show initiative at work.
• Good communication skills are required.
• Must be willing to work long hours.
• Work location is Alps Ave, Changi.
