Role overview
This full-time, on-site Video Editor position is based in Hinjewadi, Pune, Maharashtra. The role involves taking raw video material and shaping it into polished, high-impact content for social media, marketing initiatives, corporate branding, advertisements, learning content, and other digital channels. The right person for this role should bring creativity, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to turn footage into compelling visual narratives.
What you will do
- Turn raw clips into professional-quality videos for social media, websites, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop reels, short-form videos, brand promos, client testimonials, and corporate films.
- Enhance edits with motion graphics, transitions, on-screen text, sound effects, and other visual improvements.
- Work closely with marketing, content, and design teams to build and refine creative concepts.
- Maintain visual consistency and protect the brand’s identity across all edits.
- Adapt content to fit channel-specific needs for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and websites.
- Juggle several projects at once while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Keep pace with current video trends, editing methods, and social media content formats.
Skills and experience needed
- Hands-on proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing tools.
- Good understanding of video aspect ratios, file formats, and platform-wise publishing requirements.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation will be considered a plus.
- Working knowledge of color correction, audio cleanup, and visual effects.
- Ability to tell stories through video while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Animation, or a closely related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing; freshers with a strong portfolio may also be considered.
- A portfolio demonstrating prior editing work is required.
Preferred background
- Experience editing social media content.
- Exposure to corporate video production.
- Work on marketing and advertising creatives.
- Experience creating reels and other short-form videos.
