Role overview

Alice (formerly ActiveFence) is looking for a driven Web Intelligence Analyst to strengthen its team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on gathering intelligence, examining online activity in depth, preparing clear reports, and turning findings into practical guidance that helps clients reduce and respond to digital risks.

What you'll do

• Run open-source investigations across a broad mix of online environments, such as social platforms, forums, AI tools, and gaming communities, using multiple investigative approaches.
• Convert research findings into clear intelligence outputs that help clients make informed decisions and prioritize action.
• Work with data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and networks linked to online safety concerns.
• Track changing online threats across different abuse categories and study the recurring and emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures used by threat actors.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in WEBINT, OSINT, or a similar intelligence/research discipline. The ideal candidate should have a background in structured investigations and in writing professional intelligence reports. Strong analytical thinking, solid problem-solving ability, and a sharp eye for detail are essential. You should also be comfortable communicating clearly in English, both in writing and speaking, and be confident using Google Workspace along with other analytical tools. Because the work may involve sensitive or upsetting material, the ability to handle distressing content is important.
