Position summary

The Sales Engineer will help grow business in Qatar by combining technical knowledge with a consultative sales approach. The role focuses on pressure management solutions that address customer needs around operations, safety, and commercial performance. It also plays an important part in strengthening long-term customer relationships while ensuring proposed solutions are technically appropriate and commercially sound.

Key responsibilities

  • Spot, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power Generation, Cement, Steel, and Paper.
  • Develop and nurture strong working relationships with customer teams, including engineering, operations, maintenance, and procurement.
  • Assess customer pain points and suggest suitable pressure management products, services, and complete solutions.
  • Handle the sales process end to end, from opportunity identification and quotation to order finalization and after-sales support.
  • Coordinate with application engineering, manufacturing, and internal sales teams to build the best technical and commercial offering.
  • Carry out site visits, technical inspections, and audits to understand requirements accurately.
  • Present technical information, demonstrate products, and prepare solution proposals to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Lead discussions on commercial and contractual terms in line with company policies and local regulations.
  • Keep customer records, opportunity details, and forecasts current and accurate in the CRM system.
  • Follow company ethics, safety, and compliance expectations while actively promoting a strong health and safety culture.
  • Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment policies set by the organization.
