Role overview

This position involves delivering and collecting parcels along a designated route in a professional and timely manner. The courier also checks each shipment to ensure it meets the company’s service standards and supports customers with related service needs. It is an interview-based hiring process.

Key responsibilities

The role is focused on courteous pickup and delivery service, shipment verification, and customer support on an assigned route.

What you need to bring

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving history. Experience with customer-facing work is preferred. You must be able to lift 70 lbs and, using appropriate equipment, move packages up to 150 lbs.

Candidates are expected to pass mandatory pre-employment driver assessment training and may be asked to complete recurring training and keep required certifications current. Comfort working on Windows-based PCs is also required.

Skills and abilities

The job calls for strong communication and interpersonal skills, solid organization and time management, the ability to multitask, and the capacity to stay effective in a high-pressure environment. Excellent customer service skills are important, along with flexibility to work varied schedules and holidays when business needs require it.

This is a domiciled route based out of Smithers, BC, and the vehicle must be parked at the property. The posting window was 06/17/2026 to 06/24/2026. If the successful candidate lives in Quebec, bilingual ability in French and English is required.
