About the Role
We are looking for several Call Center/Data Entry Representatives to support a major banking organization in Johnston, Rhode Island. This position is centered on customer interaction, accurate information handling, and promoting banking offerings. It suits candidates who are upbeat, service-oriented, quick to learn, and comfortable working in a busy environment. Full training is provided so you can build the skills needed to handle more complex customer situations over time. You will also work alongside supportive supervisors and teammates in a collaborative setting.
Qualifications
The right candidate should have at least one year of strong performance in a customer-facing position. Good verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and a customer-first attitude are important. Previous sales exposure is a plus because the role includes cross-selling banking products. Candidates should be able to listen carefully, solve issues efficiently, stay motivated during calls, and manage their time well. Attention to detail, comfort using computer systems, and the ability to work independently are also required. Since the work involves extended periods of sitting while taking calls, candidates must be able to handle that physical demand. A high school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls and provide timely, accurate support.
- Help customers by sharing information and resolving account or service-related questions.
- Recommend and cross-sell banking products and services based on customer needs.
- Take part in paid training designed to build knowledge and readiness for more complex interactions.
- Coordinate with team members and leaders to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Keep clear and detailed records of customer conversations and transactions.
- Manage workload efficiently while maintaining service quality during high call volumes.
- Adjust quickly to process changes and contribute to a positive, improvement-focused team culture.
