Freelance Presentation Designer

Overview

Mindrift is seeking an experienced Presentation Designer for a freelance project on Tendem, where human expertise supports an AI-assisted workflow. In this position, you will partner with Tendem Agents that manage routine work, while you bring the judgment, subject-matter understanding, and layout expertise needed to craft polished, high-impact presentations.

This remote, part-time opportunity is well suited to creative specialists with practical experience in visual communication, information design, and narrative-driven presentation work.

Role focus

This freelance assignment is part of a Tendem project. The emphasis is on strong storytelling and visual structure. The ideal candidate can transform complex inputs into clear, persuasive slides and one-pagers with a refined presentation style. The work involves tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, and either Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.

Key responsibilities

• Create polished pitch decks and executive one-pagers for specific target audiences.
• Convert dense information and data into simple, visually engaging narratives with clean hierarchy and minimal clutter.
• Improve presentation quality through custom typography, smooth animations, and consistent visual treatment.
• Maintain a premium look that combines corporate professionalism with creative design sensibility across all outputs.
• Check alignment, timing, spacing, and brand consistency carefully before delivering the final file.

Requirements

• About 2 or more years of relevant experience in graphic design, presentation design, visual storytelling, or data visualization is preferred.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a closely related creative discipline is an advantage.
• Strong command of presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Keynote for building complex, dynamic, and well-animated decks.
• Advanced capability with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop, or with Figma for custom graphics and layouts.
• Ability to turn layered data and structured information into concise, minimalist visual storytelling.
• Advanced understanding of typography and animation for polished, high-end deliverables.
• English proficiency at Upper-intermediate level (B2) or higher is required.
• Experience producing premium, corporate-meets-creative presentation layouts is important.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to visual precision are expected.
• Must be able to work independently and solve design issues without close supervision.
• Your CV must include a portfolio link showing high-end presentations, pitch decks, and data visualization samples; applications without a portfolio link or relevant examples will not be considered.

Working arrangement

This is a part-time remote freelance role. During active project periods, the expected workload is approximately 10 to 20 hours per week. This figure is only an estimate and is not guaranteed.

Compensation

Contributors may earn up to the equivalent of USD 50 per hour, depending on experience and the speed of delivery. Pay levels may vary by project based on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
