The company is looking for a junior front-end developer from the MENA region to join its distributed team. This role suits someone who wants to create modern web interfaces, work with cross-functional colleagues, and continue developing technical skills in a fast-moving, healthcare-oriented setting.
What you will do
- Create and support responsive websites and landing pages for healthcare and medical clients.
- Translate design files into maintainable, reusable front-end code.
- Contribute to digital marketing assets that improve campaign results and user engagement.
- Partner with designers, marketers, and project managers to implement layouts and functionality accurately.
- Assist with improvements that support SEO, conversion optimization, and overall site performance.
- Improve page speed, accessibility, and compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Make sure experiences remain smooth on desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.
- Follow current web standards and usability best practices.
- Help maintain and enhance websites built on WordPress and similar CMS platforms.
- Handle content updates, template work, and layout changes when required.
- Find and fix interface defects and front-end issues.
- Test pages and features across devices and browsers to confirm consistent behavior.
- Keep up with new front-end tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Take part in code reviews, knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and process improvements.
What we are looking for
- 0 to 2 years of front-end development experience, including internships, freelance work, academic projects, or personal projects.
- Prior contribution to live websites or web applications is an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Comfort with responsive and mobile-first design approaches.
- Exposure to modern frameworks or libraries such as React or Vue is beneficial.
- WordPress or other CMS experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of SEO-friendly development practices.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience using collaboration tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of site performance tuning and browser compatibility requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and solid problem-solving ability.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills for a remote environment.
- Positive attitude toward feedback and continuous learning.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines independently.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar styling frameworks is a plus.
- Awareness of web accessibility standards such as WCAG is an advantage.
- Exposure to healthcare, medical, or other regulated industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with JavaScript build tools and modern development workflows is helpful.
- English fluency is required, and Arabic is highly desirable.
