Role Overview

As a Mobile Testing Engineer at Infosys, you will be an integral part of the delivery team, responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of design, development, validation, and support activities. Your primary goal will be to achieve high levels of client satisfaction within the technology domain. This involves meticulously gathering and understanding client requirements, translating them into detailed system specifications, and contributing to project estimations. You will play a crucial role in building efficient programs and systems, assisting clients in their digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effectiveness of design, development, validation, and support activities to achieve client satisfaction.
• Gather and analyze client requirements, translating them into detailed system specifications.
• Contribute to project estimations, providing accurate information to Technology Leads and Project Managers.
• Develop and implement efficient programs and systems.
• Assist clients in navigating their digital transformation journey.
• Understand and apply design principles and architectural fundamentals.
• Gain knowledge of performance engineering concepts.
• Apply understanding of quality processes and estimation techniques.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements.
• Design and code complex programs.
• Write comprehensive test cases and scenarios based on specifications.
• Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Utilize logical thinking and problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Proficiency in Mobile Testing, including all aspects of mobile application testing.
• Knowledge of design principles and architecture fundamentals.
• Understanding of performance engineering.
• Familiarity with quality processes and estimation techniques.
• Basic understanding of the project domain.
• Ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements.
• Capability to design and code complex programs.
• Skill in writing test cases and scenarios based on specifications.
• Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Awareness of current technologies and trends.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
