SAP Basis Lead

Role Overview

Yallo Group is hiring an experienced SAP Basis Lead for its Riyadh location. This is a full-time onsite role suited to a professional with deep expertise in SAP system administration and landscape support.

The role calls for 10+ years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead installation and upgrade work across SAP S/4HANA and related products such as BW/4HANA, HCM, BO/BODS, SRM, PO, BTP, Fiori, and Solution Manager.
• Handle SAP S/4HANA greenfield and brownfield implementation activities.
• Plan projects, prepare timelines, and estimate effort for technical delivery.
• Perform hardware sizing and capacity estimation for SAP landscapes.
• Manage installation and upgrade activities for SAP systems running on HANA and non-HANA databases.
• Carry out backup and restore procedures for SAP systems.
• Install Web Dispatcher, configure load balancing, and support system copy, database refresh, and database upgrade tasks.
• Support integration between BTP, SuccessFactors, SAC, and on-premises systems.
• Set up high availability for SAP applications and database hosts, and manage disaster recovery setup and synchronization.
• Perform daily health checks on databases and system environments, monitor critical processes, and maintain database backups.

Required Technical Strength

• Strong working knowledge of operating systems, databases, networking, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with SAP product installation and upgrade activities.
• Ability to work on SAP system conversion and implementation projects.

Good-to-Have Experience

• Prior exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation and conversion projects.
• Experience with SAP product installation and upgrade work beyond core Basis tasks.
