About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Problem Solver to join our team on a contract basis. This remote position offers flexible hours ranging from 10 to 40 per week and competitive pay between $45 and $65 per hour. The role focuses on designing and implementing sophisticated checkers for competitive programming challenges that may have multiple valid answers, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain checkers that accurately evaluate participant submissions against complex problem statements, often sourced from platforms such as Codeforces.
- Work closely with clients to clarify problem specifications and resolve ambiguities.
- Develop robust, maintainable C++ code capable of handling diverse outputs and various edge cases.
- Thoroughly document checker algorithms and explain nuances and edge scenarios effectively in both written and verbal communication.
- Offer constructive feedback to problem setters and reviewers for enhancing test cases and checker mechanisms.
- Stay abreast of the latest competitive programming standards and integrate best practices into your checker solutions.
