The broader DV group also includes two broker-dealer entities, a crypto market-making business, and a growing investment advisory arm.

Role Overview

This position is for an experienced software developer to work with the front office team, focusing on the build-out and everyday support of trading platforms used by traders.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the architecture, coding, rollout, and enhancement of the firm’s main C++17 trading platform.
• Apply advanced expertise in areas such as concurrent programming, market/trading systems, network communication, and performance tuning.
• Partner with trading, quantitative, and engineering teams to investigate issues and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Work directly with trading desks to understand and deliver new functionality requests.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing high-performance, scalable applications in C++.
• Prior experience working in a Linux environment.
• Strong grasp of multithreaded and multicore programming concepts.
• Background in object-oriented design and software development.
• Strong teamwork, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Exposure to options trading or trading platforms will be considered an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline from an accredited institution.
