Financial Analyst – Workflow Documentation

Role Overview

This contract position offers a remote opportunity for an experienced professional to develop and document intricate, multi-step workflows in finance and data analysis. Candidates will work 10 to 40 hours per week and receive compensation ranging from $14 to $36 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive documentation of complex financial and data analyst workflows.
• Utilize platforms such as Snowflake and Excel to execute steps, carefully recording each action and decision point.
• Employ collaboration tools like Slack for communication and to gather feedback.
• Prepare detailed guides complete with step-by-step explanations and screenshots to illustrate processes.
• Identify unclear or ambiguous situations, flagging them and applying feedback to improve accuracy.
• Ensure all documentation upholds stringent data security and privacy protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, financial analysis, or data analytics.
• Proficient in crafting precise SQL queries for reporting and analytical purposes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting financial workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear explanation of complex processes.
• Familiarity with collaborative software such as Slack and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
