Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver in Welton, England, United Kingdom. This is a full-time, on-site role with an hourly pay rate of £13.71. The position suits someone who enjoys staying active, working autonomously, and interacting with customers while representing the brand at the doorstep.
About the role
The purpose of this position is to deliver grocery orders efficiently and safely while creating a positive customer experience. As the direct point of contact for deliveries, you will be the face of the company on the road and at the customer’s home.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out van loading safely, including manual handling and lifting heavier items when needed.
- Follow all safe driving practices at all times.
- Complete routine vehicle checks before and during shifts.
- Make sure orders reach customers in excellent condition.
- Deliver friendly, professional service to customers.
- Assist in the store whenever support is needed.
- Work independently and organise your time effectively.
- Be available for shifts that may vary between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
Eligibility and requirements
Applicants should hold a full driving licence that has been valid for at least 3 years and must have no more than 6 penalty points. The role calls for a positive and approachable manner, a strong focus on customer experience, punctuality, the ability to work to deadlines, and clear awareness of road safety.
