Role Overview

This role sits within the Personal Lines team and is centered on customer service, renewals, policy updates, and retaining existing clients. The right person will be comfortable juggling several priorities at once, working accurately, and representing the business in a professional, client-facing way.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee policy renewals and support strong customer retention outcomes.
• Process amendments to policies, update account records, and coordinate with clients regarding claims and related correspondence.
• Maintain files and records so that all information remains current and correct.
• Speak with customers about renewals, mid-term policy changes, and general enquiries.
• Deal with incoming internal and external requests quickly and effectively.
• Partner with colleagues in other teams to help deliver shared objectives.
• Follow all compliance and procedural requirements in day-to-day work.
• Support additional tasks as needed and contribute ideas that help improve team performance.

Skills and Experience

Applicants should hold an APA qualification; a CIP qualification would be considered an advantage. Prior experience in a busy, customer-centered environment is important. Familiarity with Relay software is helpful. The role also calls for strong communication and relationship-building skills, solid organisation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities, switch between tasks, and solve problems confidently. A positive, flexible approach and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also important.
