Overview
Torati Cabinet Inc is hiring an Interior Designer to work from its Port Coquitlam, British Columbia location. This position is based at the physical workplace and does not offer a remote-work option.
Language
English proficiency is required for this role.
Education
A bachelor's degree is required.
Experience
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Calculate project costs and prepare estimates.
- Develop precise technical specifications for design work.
- Design interior environments that suit client preferences, needs, and style.
- Interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, and related plans.
- Recommend colours, finishes, materials, lighting, furniture, and similar elements while considering ergonomic and occupational health standards.
- Work with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, safety needs, and the intended use of the space.
- Produce detailed layouts and 3D models showing walls, partitions, displays, lighting, and other fixtures.
- Create plans, elevations, cross-sections, and detailed drawings.
