Role Overview

Workstream is hiring a Partnerships Associate for its Strategic Partnerships team. In this role, you will help identify, build, and manage partnerships that generate revenue and strengthen the platform’s value for restaurant customers. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder with experience converting partnerships into a meaningful sales channel.

What You Will Do

  • Find, evaluate, negotiate, and close new partnership opportunities while supporting the full partner lifecycle, including technical enablement, sales training, and go-to-market alignment.
  • Serve as the main contact for a portfolio of strategic partners and develop strong working relationships with both executive and operational stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales teams on co-sell initiatives, monitor pipeline progress, and support delivery of quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Work with Marketing and Product teams to shape shared value propositions, build co-branded assets, develop customer success stories, and run joint events or webinars.
  • Design, own, and lead regular enablement sessions for partner sales teams so they can confidently present and sell Workstream’s solutions.
  • Set, track, and communicate partnership performance metrics such as pipeline creation, deal registration, influenced revenue, and joint customer success.
  • Act as the internal advocate for partners and coordinate closely across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to keep execution aligned.

Candidate Profile

  • You bring 3 to 5 years of total professional experience in Sales or Partnerships within B2B SaaS.
  • You have 1 to 3 years of direct partnerships experience and have helped build a partner channel that contributes to revenue.
  • You understand the SaaS landscape and have worked with co-sell and referral motions; experience in HR Tech, Payroll, or Restaurant Tech is a plus.
  • You can structure complex deals, negotiate terms, and explain the business and financial value of a partnership clearly.
  • You work well across functions and can collaborate effectively with Marketing, Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Legal teams.
  • You communicate well in writing and in person, and you can influence and present confidently to senior stakeholders.
  • You are highly organized, outcome-driven, and able to juggle multiple partners and priorities at once.

Location and Work Setup

  • This role requires in-office presence up to 4 to 5 days per week.
  • Candidates must already be based in San Francisco or be willing to relocate there.

Compensation

The posted salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 OTE in San Francisco, in line with California pay transparency requirements. This does not include discretionary bonus or equity. Final compensation will depend on factors such as skills, experience, job scope, and current market conditions.
