Strategy Intern

Role overview

This internship supports both the Strategy team and the Corporate Development team within a confidential government organization in Riyadh. The role focuses on analytical work across M&A, partnerships, market research, executive materials, and strategic planning.

Corporate Development: M&A and Partnerships

• Assist with finding, screening, and monitoring prospective acquisition targets, joint ventures, and strategic collaborators.
• Contribute to financial valuation work by helping build models such as discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, and precedent transaction analysis.
• Support transaction due diligence by helping coordinate the review of financial, legal, and operational documentation.
• Help prepare post-deal integration plans and follow the implementation progress for acquired businesses or assets.

Corporate Strategy

• Carry out in-depth market and competitor research, including industry trends, market sizing such as TAM, SAM, and SOM, emerging technologies, and competitor activity.
• Support the assessment of strategic projects such as new market entry, product rollouts, and internal efficiency improvements.
• Prepare polished presentations and briefing memorandums for senior leadership and the Board, turning findings into practical recommendations.
• Analyze internal datasets and outside data sources to generate business insights and support evidence-based decisions.

Qualifications

Applicants should be working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with an MBA considered an advantage, in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another quantitative discipline.

Prior exposure through internships in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Corporate Strategy would be a strong plus.

The role is based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and follows a part-time internship format.
