Role overview
As an Account Manager, you will partner with senior stakeholders at prominent companies and oversee consulting assignments from the first discussion through successful delivery. You will own and grow your own client relationships, identify suitable freelance consultants from a global network, and help ensure projects are executed smoothly and effectively.
This position sits within a fast-moving team and provides strong opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and progression.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with C-suite leaders to shape their most important consulting needs.
- Draft precise project briefs, evaluate consultant profiles, and locate specialized expertise to create high-quality shortlists.
- Prepare consultants for interviews with clients and share prompt feedback after each conversation to improve outcomes.
- Coordinate the consultant selection process and align client expectations to determine the best project fit.
- Handle commercial discussions between clients and consultants, including scope, deliverables, and pricing.
- Secure signed agreements and consistently perform against or above target.
- Track ongoing consulting work and look for extension opportunities together with top consultants.
Requirements
- Recent graduation or upcoming graduation from a top university, with strong academic performance.
- At least 6 months of professional experience in sales, business development, or consulting.
- A performance-oriented approach and a track record of exceeding goals or ranking among top performers.
- Genuine interest in consulting, the global talent market, and emerging ways of working.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Willingness to work from the Berlin office.
- Advanced English proficiency at C1/C2 level.
- Knowledge of another European language at C1/C2 level is considered an advantage.
