Role Summary
This position is for an Advisor Recruiter based in Koyilandy, with hybrid working flexibility. The role is focused on finding, attracting, and hiring suitable insurance advisor candidates, with primary attention on applicants from Calicut, Kerala. The recruiter will build candidate pipelines, conduct interviews, manage selection steps, and support onboarding according to company processes. The role also includes coaching advisors to strengthen selling ability, product understanding, and adherence to regulatory as well as internal compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source prospective insurance advisors, especially from Calicut and nearby locations.
- Create and maintain a steady pipeline of suitable candidates for advisor positions.
- Handle interview coordination, assessment, selection, and onboarding activities.
- Guide new and existing advisors on sales approach, product knowledge, and compliance expectations.
- Work with local leadership to meet hiring goals and recruitment deadlines.
- Plan and support recruitment drives, campaigns, and local hiring events.
- Track recruitment activity and prepare regular updates on progress and outcomes.
- Build local networks and relationships that help expand the advisor base.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have solid experience or capability in talent sourcing, interviewing, and full-cycle recruitment, ideally within insurance or financial services. Strong local networking ability is important, along with the confidence to connect with prospects across Calicut and surrounding areas. Clear communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are needed to motivate and support advisors. Familiarity with MS Office, online hiring tools, and digital communication platforms will be useful. Knowledge of sales methods, insurance products, or financial services is an added advantage. A graduate degree or equivalent is preferred, and extra qualifications in HR, Sales, or Insurance will be beneficial. The role suits a self-driven, target-focused professional who can work independently and in a team setting, and who is willing to travel locally for recruitment work.
