Job description

About the Role

This position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar. You will support the Guest Relations function by helping deliver a consistently high-quality stay experience and by keeping day-to-day guest services running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle guest questions, service requests, and complaints promptly and in a courteous, professional way.
  • Assist the Front Office team with guest service coordination and related activities.
  • Support efficient arrival and departure operations, including check-in and check-out.
  • Work with other hotel departments to meet guest needs and quickly resolve concerns.
  • Help coach and guide guest relations team members so service standards remain strong.
  • Contribute to the design and rollout of guest satisfaction improvements.
  • Review guest feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the experience.
  • Take part in special functions and arrangements for VIP guests.
  • Follow hotel procedures as well as applicable local regulations.
  • Help manage guest relations resources and budget allocation.

Requirements

  • A college diploma in hotel management or a closely related discipline is required.
  • Prior exposure to Front Office or Guest Services operations is expected.
  • Strong communication abilities are essential.
  • Hands-on experience using Front Office systems is needed.
  • Good spoken and written English is required; Russian language skills are an added advantage.
