About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of Administration to oversee and direct the day-to-day administrative operations at the Mahan power plant. This role is crucial for ensuring that all administrative functions align with Adani Power's high operational standards and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient administrative policies, managing facility services, and leading the administrative team to foster a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day administrative operations at the Mahan power plant, ensuring alignment with Adani Power’s operational standards and objectives.
- Develop and implement efficient administrative policies and procedures to support the plant’s operational needs.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and operational support.
- Manage facility services, including maintenance, security, and housekeeping, to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Monitor and manage budgets related to administrative functions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Lead and mentor the administrative team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Support the implementation of technology-driven solutions to enhance administrative efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation of administrative activities, aligning with the business unit’s operational requirements.
- Act as a liaison between the Mahan plant and corporate administration to ensure alignment with Adani Power’s broader strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in administration, preferably within the power or energy sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale facility operations and administrative functions.
- Strong background in budget management and cost optimization within administrative domains.
- In-depth knowledge of administrative processes and best practices in the energy or industrial sector.
- Familiarity with facility management, vendor management, and operational support systems.
- Understanding of budget planning, cost control, and financial reporting in an administrative context.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for administrative and operational management.
- Familiarity with facility management software and tools for tracking and optimizing operations.
- Competence in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in Facility Management or Administration are preferred.
Additional Information
This role requires 5 to 8 years of experience in administrative roles, with a focus on operational efficiency and team management. Experience in the power or energy sector, with exposure to large-scale industrial operations, is highly desirable.
