Role overview
Crusoe Energy is hiring an organized and proactive Assistant Project Manager in Denver, Colorado. This full-time, onsite role supports the execution of projects connected to the company’s mission of advancing climate-friendly computing infrastructure for AI and related fields. The position focuses on keeping project work structured through strong documentation, scheduling, budget oversight, communication, and risk tracking.
You will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to help projects move smoothly, maintain clear records, and surface issues early. The role suits someone who is highly organized, communicates well, and enjoys working in a fast-moving environment with lots of coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Keep project files, records, and documentation well organized, current, and easy to access.
- Coordinate meetings, build agendas, and capture accurate notes and minutes.
- Prepare project updates, status reports, and supporting documentation for project leadership and stakeholders.
- Track project budgets closely, watch for overspending, and monitor expenses.
- Follow project progress, raise issues quickly, and keep action items updated.
- Identify possible risks and opportunities and work with technical project managers to remove blockers.
- Stay informed on modern project management tools, methods, and terminology, and suggest improvements that increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 3 years of experience in project coordination, project controls, or project management.
- Strong judgment and forward planning ability for managing substantial projects and activities.
- Excellent organization skills for handling multiple schedules, tasks, and resources at once.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with varied teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a dynamic setting and contribute as a dependable team player.
- Willingness to take on extra responsibilities when needed to support project outcomes.
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and adapt.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 or more hours per day, with constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
Bonus qualifications
- Hands-on experience with project management software.
- Exposure to Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Exposure to Primavera P6.
- Exposure to Procore.
- PMP certification.

Compensation range
The expected pay range is up to $83,000 to $98,000 per year, plus bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, skills, internal pay alignment, and market data.
