Role Overview
The Associate Merchandiser for E-Commerce supports digital business growth across the company’s wholesale online channels, with a strong emphasis on Amazon. Working from the New York City Midtown Manhattan Fashion District office, this role collaborates with multiple teams to execute category plans, track performance, and improve how products are presented online. The position functions as the business owner for the category, using performance data, market trends, and customer signals to uncover opportunities that improve revenue, margin, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with leadership and finance to build monthly sales plans, manage budgets, and forecast upcoming demand.
Own category performance tracking, including business reviews, risk identification, and opportunity spotting to help meet commercial goals.
Use financial data, competitor intelligence, and trend insights to guide assortment choices and promotional planning.
Prepare seasonal hindsight analysis to assess results by channel and inform future actions.
Create and run promotional plans for Amazon coupons, deals, and major tentpole events such as Prime Day and Cyber Monday.
Work with marketing and operations teams so promotions match business priorities and budget limits.
Help deploy, monitor, and refine digital marketing initiatives aimed at improving return on investment.
Review sales patterns, customer feedback, and historical performance to shape assortment decisions.
Track competitors and market shifts to uncover new opportunities for category growth.
Act as the category specialist to ensure the product mix reflects demand and broader marketplace trends.
Coordinate with demand planning, marketing, and digital operations teams on product, pricing, and promotional alignment.
Run seasonal development calendars by setting meetings, following up on deliverables, and keeping timelines on track.
Support improvements to the online shopping experience by ensuring product information is accurate, clear, and compelling.
Monitor stock positions and respond quickly to potential low-inventory or out-of-stock situations.
Work with supply chain and operations partners to keep products available across e-commerce channels.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, marketing, or a similar discipline is preferred.
Three to five years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, planning, or digital retail is required.
Advanced Excel capability is needed, including data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting models.
The role calls for strong analytical thinking, organization, and time management.
Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
Applicants should be able to solve problems effectively in a fast-moving, results-oriented environment.
Preferred Background
Experience with Amazon Vendor Central and Premium Analytics is a plus.
Knowledge of digital performance metrics and promotion optimization is preferred.
Prior work in cross-functional settings and omni-channel retail environments is advantageous.
Apparel or fashion industry experience is preferred.
Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, along with solid presentation ability, are beneficial.

Compensation and Pay Details
This is an hourly position paid at $31.25 to $36.06 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week.
The compensation disclosure is provided in good faith for this role and is intended to comply with New York City salary transparency requirements.
