Role overview

This position is for an experienced barista who can deliver excellent coffee and beverage service while contributing to a warm, welcoming guest experience across the Food & Beverage operation.

Key duties

  • Prepare and present coffee, tea, and other beverages to a high standard.
  • Take customer orders, handle payments, and provide attentive, friendly service.
  • Bring strong organisational ability and a sharp eye for detail to daily service.
  • Help create a sense of belonging for guests and fellow team members.
  • Produce visually appealing, high-quality coffee drinks.
  • Support multiple Food & Beverage areas, including coffee preparation and floor service.
  • Suggest food and drink choices confidently when needed.
  • Go the extra mile to ensure guests feel genuinely welcomed.

What you need to bring

  • Proven barista capability, including espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art.
  • Working knowledge of coffee machines, grinder adjustments, and daily setup and cleaning routines.
  • Flexibility to work across different Food & Beverage sections and assist the wider team.
  • A strong commitment to outstanding guest service.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A positive, energetic, and collaborative approach.
  • Comfort working in a busy, changing, fast-paced environment.
  • RSA certification is required.
  • Barista certification is highly regarded.
  • A genuine hospitality mindset and a service style that comes from the heart.
