About the role
Starbucks is looking for a part-time barista to work in its Orangeville, Ontario store at 19854 Airport Road. In this role, you will help deliver the Starbucks experience by providing friendly service, preparing beverages and food to standard, and contributing to a welcoming store atmosphere.
The store team values connection, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. Baristas play an important role in creating positive customer moments through quality drinks, warm interactions, and efficient service in a lively retail environment.
What you will do
- Welcome customers and provide thoughtful, pleasant service throughout their visit.
- Prepare beverages and food items according to standard recipes or customer-specific modifications.
- Handle cash and support store safety, cleanliness, and security procedures.
- Move between different duties during a shift as needed to keep the store running smoothly.
- Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers to understand needs and resolve requests.
- Maintain a tidy, organized workspace and contribute to an efficient team environment.
What we are looking for
- No previous work experience is needed for this role.
- A customer-first attitude and genuine interest in working with people.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, energetic setting.
- Willingness to learn new beverage recipes and store procedures.
- Ability to follow both spoken and written instructions and ask questions when needed.
- Strong teamwork, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Reliability, including regular attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
